Description
Directors are invited to join the company roster based on their particular animation techniques and stylizations, narrative approach and the foundation of personal film and professional work on their reel. Artistic and narrative aesthetics play the most important roll in filling out the Acme Filmworks roster. If you feel that you qualify, please submit your resume and we will be in contact to request a reel. Acme Filmworks is an animation studio based in Hollywood, California with intermittent short and long term production units set up in cities around the world. Commercial animation for the advertising industry is our primary work. Our productions generally consist of 2D drawn, painterly and collage animation with sporadic 3D model, CG and live action shoots. Submission of resumes by qualified applicants are welcomed from everywhere.
RESUME SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All resumes submitted must include the legal name of applicant along with address of residence and telephone/email/fax/cellular telephone/pager. Together with practical experience and skills, resumes should also include a minimum of three current references with current telephone numbers of former or current direct supervisors, employers, and clients who benefited directly from their work performed by the applicant within the last 3 years. Knowledge of software and/or hardware should include specific equipment platforms, appliances and software versions with an accurate self assessment of each significant software skill level (references should be able to speak to these specific skill sets.
All resumes must be submitted via the internet as an email attachment in PDF format. The body of the email should be void of content as all submission content should be contained in a PDF which includes a cover letter, resume and any graphics, drawing samples, show reel content lists, web page captures and hot links. PDF's should be submitted as a single document not to exceed 200K in size. Send resumes to resume@acmefilmworks.com. Use the following naming conventions in naming your PDF resume file submission and in the subject heading on the email:

UNSOLICITED REEL and PORTFOLIO SUBMISSIONS. Submit reels on VHS, CD ROM or DVD and include a complete list detailing work performed, the capacity served and the commissioning company for each production. Lists should be submitted as part of the PDF resume document. If you wish to have your reel and or portfolio returned, please request that it be returned and provide a self addressed postage pre-paid stamped envelope. UNLESS IT IS EXPRESSLY REQUESTED BY THE APPLICANT, ACME FILMWORKS, INC. RESERVED THE RIGHT TO MAKE AND KEEP FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY, AN ARCHIVE COPY OF ANY REEL AND/OR PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION.
